Coronation Street star Vicky Myers marked her four-year milestone on the soap with a heartfelt social media post.
The actor debuted as DS Lisa Swain on the ITV soap back in 2021, before the character became a more regular feature of day-to-day life in Weatherfield as she began a relationship with Carla Connor.
In a touching post on Instagram, Myers shared some behind-the-scenes photos from the set as well as a still from her debut appearance, writing in the caption: “Four years of DS Lisa Swain.👮I can’t quite believe it’s been four years.
“What a journey, what a story, what a woman, and there’s plenty more to come!😊Whether you love her or hate her, thank you🙏 Forever grateful ✨Thank you @coronationstreet 🫶🏼 And thank YOU 🫵”
Myers received plenty of congratulatory messages in the comment section, with co-star Sally Carman – who plays Abi Franklin – writing: “You are the best!! Here’s to the next four you amazing woman! 🙌😍🥰🤩😘💛🥳”

“And what a talent you are⭐️” added Sydney Martin, who plays Myers’s on-screen daughter Betsy. “so lucky I’ve been a small part of your Corrie journey so far 🥺love you mama swain xxx”. Sair Khan, who plays Alya Nazir, wrote: “Woohoo ❤️🔥🙌”
“Oh how times fly 🥹 we love you Vicky you have been amazing on Corrie so far and I hope to see even more for you!! 🥰🩵” added one fan, with another writing: “You are absolutely amazing and talented! Fantastic addition to the show. Keep being yourself love you ❤️”
“Love her, and yes what a woman! Thank you for giving us DS Lisa Swain with such grace, dedication, and love. We’re here for the ride as long as you are.👏❤️” wrote one supportive fan, with another viewer describing the actor as “incredible”.
