Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours recently brought back dodgy doctor Darcy Tyler, and while he’s promised that he’s turned over a new leaf and wants to make amends for past mistakes, it’s not the truth.
In scenes set to air next Monday (12 May), viewers will see Darcy’s ulterior motive start to unfold.
In the episode, Lassiters celebrates the Australian Mother’s Day with a community fête, which prompts Amanda Harris to notice the lack of photos of her in Jane’s house, and she’s left feeling slighted.
Amanda feels even worse when Nicolette Stone doesn’t show any interest in looking through her collection of designer clothes she’s looking to find a new home for.
She decided to offer all the clothes to Sadie Rodwell, Byron’s girlfriend, and declares Mother’s Day ruined.

Jane manages to console Amanda in time to salvage the day, having picked up a few tricks to deal with her mother’s volatile temperament.
Meanwhile, Darcy — who recently gave Amanda some financial advice — checks her shares and sees that they’ve steadily gone up. He frankly searches for her shareholder documents, and finds them in her freezer.
He later gets confirmation that he’s gifted all of Amanda’s shares to himself, and is now a very rich man.

“It was only ever a matter of time before Darcy returned to his old tricks – he’s been building up to this for weeks,” our Neighbours insider shares.
“Amanda is smitten with Darcy’s friendship but he just sees her as a way to get rich quickly. Can Amanda’s family figure out what’s going on before things get any worse?”
