About Quack Quack Attack
Quack Quack Attack is a casual action game from HaoPlay Limited that combines a slingshot-style aiming mechanic with squad building and a cosy base. The story begins with a duck waking on the deck of a mysterious ark with no memory. You become Captain Duck, take the helm of this ship of miracles and travel across perilous fantasy islands, rescuing super-powered avian partners along the way, such as the lightning-wielding Chicken Mage and the martial arts master Goose Fighter.
One-handed slingshot gameplay
The core control scheme is simple: swipe to draw an aim line and release to shoot. The projectiles follow physical ricochets, so the satisfaction comes from bouncing shots around monster hordes to clear the screen, which the game calls an "Infinite Slingshot". Because it only needs one hand, you can play almost anywhere. Learning how angles work is the main skill; a slightly different aim can turn one bounce into several hits.
Avian heroes and squad building
There are more than 50 avian heroes with unique skills, and you can mix and match them across hundreds of stages. Collision and Combo mechanics reward clever positioning, as hits can chain into flashy combinations. When choosing a squad, consider how heroes complement each other rather than picking the strongest ones individually. Variety in roles helps you handle different monster waves.
Elemental builds
The game allows you to build around elements. A Fire lineup triggers furious explosions, while a Lightning lineup electrocutes the whole screen. Because these builds create different strategies, you can experiment to find a style that suits you. Skins are also part of progression, and the publisher says they can boost combat power and stats as well as change appearance.
Beyond combat
Between battles you gather resources, open mysterious eggs, dress up your partners and decorate your ark. This provides a relaxing counterpoint to the action and gives long-term goals to players who enjoy collecting and customising. The ark acts as a home base where your progress is visible, which can be motivating over many sessions.
Tips for beginners
Spend your first stages learning how bounce angles work, using walls to reach enemies behind cover. Watch for traps and plan shots that avoid unnecessary damage. Build a squad with a coherent element theme, as synergy gives a noticeable advantage. Use quick sessions to collect rewards and upgrade heroes steadily, and avoid spending resources on every hero at once; focusing on a core team brings faster progress.
Eggs and purchases
Opening eggs involves chance, so treat it as an optional bonus. If the game offers in-app purchases, decide on a spending limit ahead of time and remember that you can enjoy a lot of the game without paying. Parents should review device purchase settings if younger players use the phone.
Who will enjoy it
The game suits casual players who like physics puzzles, cute characters and quick sessions. If you prefer story-heavy RPGs or complex strategy, it may feel light, though the build options add some depth.
